Yesterday I rode twice in Zwift. One was a free ride of Tempest Fugit. This is my go to route for recovery or workouts. But after COVID is has been my slow roll route. I then also biked a work out, 5 Bumps. Yes this is a pregnancy workout in Zwift, but they are slow paced which is what I need to get back into my stamina I had before COVID.
The two rides yesterday equated to about 21 miles. Both were listed as tempo work outs. BUT my heart rate is finally getting back to normal as my body begins to get back to my regular biking routine. Will still take some time to get back to where I was but happy to see progress. When I first started after COVID, I could barely get going in zone 1/2 power without my heart rate being at 80-90% of my max heart rate.
Just keep on going and little changes to get back to normal.
