With the purchase of the Nikon D750 last summer, I was also in the market for new glass. I was not going to use my old kit lenses on the new D750. One of the news lenses that I ordered was the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II Lens. I purchased it from the USED Department from B&H Photography. The USED Department from B&H is a very good deal. I saved around 11% on the lens compared to ordering new. The previous owner took good care of the lens. I did not see any flaws when I inspected it. The only thing I found was that the front and rear glass elements were dust. Just had to clean them and ready to go. So if you are looking for a good deal on a Nikon lens, checkout the B&H USED Department.
I decided to go with this lens version because of price the newer version was WAY out of my price range.
I have taken a few photos with the lens, but can not provide a full review at this time. After this Spring/Summer, when my photograph season begins, I will have more lens time under my belt and will be able to make a better review. So come back later this year and I will have a full review.
